New Mexico Youth Conservation Foundation is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that seeks to establish youth outdoor education facilities and restore, build, and manage wetlands, riparian areas, uplands, and other wildlife habitats in the state of New Mexico.
Each generation continues to become less and less connected with nature and the outdoors. The lack of interest stems from a lack of guidance coupled with a lack of opportunity. If we desire our endangered-species list to decline, wildlife populations to remain healthy, and habitat reduction curtailed, we must raise the next generation of Americans to love the outdoors as much as we do. They are the future of conservation.
